Through the Forest Farm

Through the Forest Farm is a Market Garden located in Clarksville, MD. We grow approx approximately 1/2 acre of fruits, vegetables and cut flowers and specialize in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Our 2026 CSA registration is now open! The CSA will be about 2 weeks longer than last year, with the Spring CSA starting a bit earlier, on March 28, 2026. We will transition to the summer CSA a bit earlier, too, on May 23, 2026.

Joining now guarantees your place and helps us with planning and buying supplies like seeds, potting mix, and compost. We appreciate your support and hope you can join us for another great season of local, organically grown produce. We look forward to sharing our 2026 growing season with you. This week was the last week of our Spring CSA and we were thrilled to have strawberries in the CSA box for the last 3 weeks! It was a lot of had work expanding the strawberry patch. I started with just 3 plants and multiplied them from runners over the last two years. Friends and family helped with the weeding and harvesting and eating. Such a fun and delicious crop. The rabbits gave me a run for my money at times especially over the winter but it turned out to be a great strawberry season. Now if only I could only find a way to expand it some more 😉🍓Onwards to red sweetness of the Summer CSA 🍅🍉!!
