Through the Forest Farm is looking for a part-time, seasonal team member to help keep our small, diversified vegetable farm running smoothly during the main growing season. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working outdoors, has hands-on gardening or farming experience, and wants to be part of a farm that values quality, care, and efficiency.

About the Role

Hours average 8 per week from March through August, with tasks that shift with the season. The most common work includes harvesting and preparing produce for our weekly CSA pickup. Other tasks may include:

• Harvesting, washing, and packing produce

• Planting and transplanting

• Bed and field preparation

• Weeding and cultivation

• Watering crops (including occasional watering when we are away)

• Delivering produce to local locations

• General cleaning and upkeep around the farm

What We’re Looking For

• Previous farming or gardening experience or a dedicated passion for small scale agriculture

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working in heat, humidity, and varying weather

• Willingness to occasionally start early for morning harvests

• Flexibility with weekly scheduling

• Reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail

• A positive, solutions-oriented attitude

Compensation

• $20/hour
